Priest SCC This class really can be described in 2 words. Or one word and 4 symbols. Holy $#!+. That's it. Their entire offense relies on Holy. At around level 10 or so, you get the MP (56) for one Holy spell. The sooner, the better. If you try to do later battles without Holy, you will suffer. Dorter and Sand Rat Cellar (and maybe a few of the assassination battles) can be done without the Holy spell, but you're relying on Cure, Cure2, and Raise. Magic Defend UP, Shell, White Robes combined will stop almost any enemy mage threat. Protect can weaken enemy fighters. Holy will kill any enemy in two goes, minus Zodiacs. There are a few hard battles, notably the ones that were hard for Wizards. In this case, Bethla is genuinely hard. Note also, Priests have different speed growth - 8,23,40. So keep that in mind while leveling. You shouldn't be much past 40 in the endgame, that's excessive.

When to learn Holy

Well, learn Cure, Cure2, Raise and then start saving for it. When you can, learn it. That simple. Wizard Robes get available after Lionel (the meeting with Draclau) so head back to Zaland for them. That guarantees that you can use Holy. Ironically enough, you don't use Holy in the next battle. You smite undeads with Cure2.

Difficult Battles
Yardow Fort City: while not as hard as it was for Wizards, this can be difficult. Just try to put your whole party on Protect and Shell then nuke the Ninjas with Holy. Use Raise when needed.
Bethla Sluice: More difficult than Wizards had it for some reason. Ditch Reflect Rings on both parties, use Angel Rings. Holy both Wizards first turn, then the Archer. On the other side, just use Holy. Make sure that Archer goes down though. That's the biggest problem that you will have. MP is the biggest problem here. If you have 2 holies, you'll be better off. Definitely be over level 23 here.
Altima: This battle requires you to be level 40 or have freakish luck and ridiculously good Zodiac compatibility. Unless you have a bunch of "Good" compatibility people, don't bother under level 40. Even if you're level 40, you still need 3 holies, so give yourself the MP setup, with Golden Hairpins and Light Robes. You probably want Angel Rings so you don't waste MP on Raise and Raise 2. 5 Holies should take care of the first form of Altima. Don't waste any on the demons, they are immune to holy. Here's the PBF.

That way, she attacks Alma, and you can go berserk with Holies. Once Altima is down, use a Raise 2 (from a Good/Best compatibility) or Raise (from a bad/worst/neutral compatibility) on Alma. Watch MBarrier save the day, as Altima2 will start using Despair2.
(Am I the only one reminded of Galadriel at this point? "All shall love me and despair...")
Anyways, you should not have a hard time after this. Just stagger your turns by moving/not moving and acting/not acting so if a crystal appears, you're more likely to grab it.
